Mr. James Marion Duvall, loving husband, father, and pawpaw passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 2, 2024, with his loved ones at his side.

A lifelong resident of Kingston, GA, James was born October 18, 1947, to the late Earl Howard Duvall and Bonnie Mae Chasteen Duvall. He was also greeted in Heaven by his beloved daughter, Patricia Michelle Duvall Glover and brothers and sisters, Dallas Duvall, Marvin Duvall, Evelyn Weeden, Larry Duvall, and Dean Duvall.  James was a master carpenter and woodworker, known for his exceptional skills and creativity. Many would say, 'if you can dream it, he can build it." James loved his family, some of his favorite memories were sitting around playing the guitar and singing together. He will be dearly missed by all of his loved ones, but they will cherish his memory forever.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Patsy Boozer Duvall; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sabrina Duvall; grandchildren, Caleb Glover, Kayleigh Glover, Josh Glover, Jasper Glover, Elizabeth and Bill Diaz, Charlie and Chris Angel, Michaela and Cody Jones, and; great-grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Isabella, and Korbin Diaz, Greyson and Granger Angel, and Camden, McKenna, and Mahala Jones; sister, Judy and Jody Prince; brother, Charlie and Sherry Duvall; lifelong friend, Alton Johnston and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of James life will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Reverends Harold Holbert and Vann Duvall officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. James Marion Duvall.
