Mr. James " J.W." White , age 84 , of Adairsville, passed away Tues day morning November 2 9 , 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Hokes Bluff, Alabama , June 11, 1938 , son of the late James and Aussie Lane White . J. W. was of the Christian faith. After graduating from Hokes Bluff High School he served in the United States Air Force. J. W. retired from General Electric in Rome and later worked at Walmart in Calhoun. Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Pauline Dixon and Theora Hardin.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Juanita Byars White; sons, Mark White, Keith White, and Scott Nichols; grandchildren, Kameron Nichols, Ch rista White, Taylor White, Daniel White, Josh White, and Dylan White; several great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Williamson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends T hurs day, December 1, 2022, from 4 :00PM until 7:00PM at Barton Funeral Home. Honoring his wishes, J. W. will be cremated.
