Obituary

Mrs. Jamie Lynn Witt Black, age 47, of 20 Pilgrim Circle, Cartersville, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Cartersville.

Mrs. Black was born in Floyd County, GA, December 6, 1963, daughter of James Peeler Witt and Patricia Jane Holcombe. She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed reading, basketball, writing poetry and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jerry Holcombe.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Keith Black of Cartersville; 2 daughters, Kesha Alene Black and Amberly Michelle Black, both of Cartersville; 2 sons, Larry Kevin Black of Florida and Larry Gene Black of Cartersville; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joel Dean Witt of Kennesaw and Jerry Lamar Holcombe of Kingston; a sister Jessica Hope Windiate of Toccoa; nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Donnie Summey officiating. Pallbearers include Jackie David Cantrell, Jason Nolan, Allen Head, Danny McClure, Jimmy Summey, Danny Stansel, Harrison Fowler, and John David Wood.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
