Mrs. Janice Thurman Fields, age 65, of Kingston, passed away at her residence Saturday, January 20, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Janice was born in Cartersville, GA, July 1, 1958, daughter of the late James Roy Thurman and Thelma Vaughan Thurman. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy Fields and brother, David Thurman. She was of the Baptist faith. Janice was an independent, strong woman who adored her family. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed being outside and flower gardening.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Morgan (Dawn Green) and Carol Morgan (Bobby Turner); grandchildren, Kevin Morgan, Gavin Morgan, Ava Grace Morgan, Kelly Morgan, and Ashley Sloan; sister, Ginger Miller and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:00PM from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Stepp officiating. Pallbearers will include Jimmy Morgan, Bobby Turner, Brian McCollum, Darrell Womack and Phillip Smith.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:30 until 1:30 at Barton Funeral Home.
