IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason
Moore
November 13, 1975 – October 3, 2021
James "Jason" Moore was born November 13, 1975 and passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021 after a brave battle with Glioblastoma. He was surrounded by many of his family and friends as he fell asleep in death.
Jason, often known as Jay, was the most devoted loving husband, father and friend.
He married his high school sweetheart in 1994 and they shared a marriage filled with true love for 27 years. He worked hard for his family which often involved traveling, providing many opportunities for him to enjoy adventures with his family. Jay loved hiking, playing sports, playing the drums, riding dirt bikes and anything involving the outdoors. Anyone who knew Jay knows he never met a stranger, would talk anyone's ears off, genuinely loved everyone and only saw the best in people.
In his final days, Jay was extremely happy, content and was strengthened by his faith in Jehovah God and his promises for the future. He was never in pain and was at peace with the fact he would fall asleep in death, but would one day soon be resurrected back to life and be with his beautiful wife and family.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Moore; his brother, Keith Moore; his sister, Kris Moore. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shawna Moore; his three children, Taylor, Maddison (Shane) and Everett; his first grand-daughter, Amellia; his father, Harold Moore; his sisters Kim Moore and Kristy Beemiller (Britt); several nieces and nephews and a large extended family that loved him dearly.
True to his style we want to honor Jason's memory by doing the things he loved and will have a celebration of life next spring.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
