Mrs. Jean Greene Colston, age 85, of Adairsville, GA passed away Tuesday evening, April 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born in Adairville , GA, August 4, 1937 , daughter of the late Frank Hugh (Cobb) Greene and Ruth Lanham Greene. Mrs. Colston was preceded in death by her husband, T.W. Colston; grandson, Jason Colston; son s -in-law, Donald "Duck" Pasley and David Parker ; brothers, Hugh Greene and Julius "Gid" Green; and sister, Ruby Jackson. She attended Adairsville Church of Christ. Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking and having all of her family together. Her children and grandchildren will cherish her memor y.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Pasley (Richard Nalli), Tammy McClure(Ty), Frani Brackin(Herb), Stacey Parker, and Chris Colston(Tanya); 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Interment will follow Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Pasley, Dustin Autry, Rusty Gwin, Shane Elrod, Ethan Leach and Daulton Pittman.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
