Mr s . Jeanette Davenport, age 75 , of Kingston passed away S un day, September 16 , 2018 at her residence .

Mr s . Davenport was born in Adairsville, December 11, 1942 , daughter of the late Floyd Lester Fowler and Josephine Cagle Fowler. Sh e was a devout Christian and member at Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church . She was retired from Glad Manufacturing. In her younger years, Jeanette loved singing the gospel with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed. Mr s . Davenport was preceded in death by h er parents; husband, Richard Lee Davenport; sisters, Virginia Benefield and Lenamae Miller; and brother s , Buck Fowler and Tom Fowler .

Survivors include her children, Eddie Davenport of Kingston and Michael Davenport of Kingston; grandchildren, Richard Davenport, Caleb Davenport, Briana Davenport, and Hannah Davenport; great grandchildren, Kendell Davenport, Kameron Davenport, and Kadin Davenport; sisters, Betty and Jerry Miller, Shirley Flowers, and Lynn Kurtz; brother, Jack Fowler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19 , 2018 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Adrian Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Shane Griffin, Johnathon Stephens, Joe Collum, Mark Flowers, Scott Flowers, and David Barton . Honorary pallbea r er will be Herbert Fowler.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
