Mr. Jeffery David Greene, 56, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday evening, September 20, 2023, at Northside Hospital with his loving family at his side.

He was born in Rome, Georgia, July 8, 1967, son of Bobby Terry Greene and Wanda Stringer Owens. Jeff was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a diesel mechanic for Discount Tire and Towing. He loved spending time with his wife, children and family. He was happiest when he was doing anything outside, fishing, building rockets, and kayaking. Jeff was a friend to all and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Radford and Charlotte Greene and James and Ruby Stringer.

Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Karen Greene; children, Jeffrey Greene (Kelsey) and Alyssa Breland; stepdaughter, Amy Baemel; grandchildren, Atlas Greene, Drayden Byrd, Carley Ballard, and Addison Harris; step-grandchildren, Ivy, Madison, and Dawson; father, Bobby Greene (Helen); mother, Wanda Owens (Wendell); sisters, Dana Silvers, Sandy Greene, Veronica Maxwell, Nancy Mallett, and Cheryl Cooper (Scotty); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Tony Gravitt, Jeffrey Greene, Jason Greene, Dale Nelson, Brian Ellis, Bryan King, and Jarrod Cochran.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
