Mr. Jeffery Gordon Kent, Sr., age 66, of Monroe, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, December 20, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Jeffery was born October 14, 1959, to the late, Ruby Botts Kent and David Kent.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffery G. Kent, Jr., Jon Wells (Sara), and Cameron Parker; daughters, Natasha Kent and Christina Floyd (Nathan); 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Donnie Kent (Tina); sister, Tammy Glass and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Jeffery was a devoted family man whose life revolved around the people he loved most. He cherished time spent with his family and found great enjoyment in simple pleasures, especially fishing, playing pool, and working on cars. Whether relaxing by the water, sharing laughs around a pool table, or tinkering in the garage, Jeffery took pride in the moments that brought everyone together. His warm spirit, hardworking nature, and love for family will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Brian Cox officiating. Pallbearers include Chris Holmes, Walker Holmes, Randall Forsyth, Taylor Forsyth, Caleb Forsyth, and Wesley Lowery.
