Jeffery Craig McDaniel, 54, of Adairsville, GA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his residence.

Jeffery was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on July 18, 1969. He was a member of Gray's Chapel AME Church. Jeffery loved his family, especially his mother. They spent most of their days together and Jeffery always looked forward to their trips to Walmart.  He was a die-hard fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, some might even say biggest.  He was even a collector of Georgia memorabilia: clothes, shoes, hats, even figurines, anything with Georgia Bulldogs on it, he wanted it!  Above all Jeffery was a loving, generous person who cared for everyone. His memory will live in the hearts of his dear family forever.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Willie Mae McDaniel and Lucille Carter; sister, Cicely Carter and Angela Carter; uncles, Edgar McDaniel and Gregory  Davis; and aunt, Willie B. Palmer.

Survivors include his beloved mother, Elaine McDaniel; father, Leroy Carter; brother, Michael and Davina McDaniel and their children, Eric McDaniel (Rachel), Kira Thomas, (James), Donovan McDaniel, and Shanta McDaniel; sister, Alisa Carter, Stephanie Wilkins, Darlene Carter Bryant and Christi Fisher; brother, Chris Brewer; aunts, Patricia Beasley and Annie Bell Carter; uncle, Melvin Lowe; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home in Adairsville with Pastor Kenneth Benham officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric McDaniel, Donovan McDaniel, James Thomas, FelixHoward, and Gary Pullium.
