Jeremy Dwayne Hazelwood, age 46, of Rome, passed away Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeremy was born in Rome, Georgia, June 24, 1978, son of Rhonda Roach Hazelwood and the late Steve Don Hazelwood. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Hight Hazelwood and uncles, Ted J. Hazelwood and Randy Hazelwood.

Jeremy was a devoted husband and father who cherished his family deeply. He had a passion for motorcycles and a love for music. Jeremy was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church and worked as a forklift driver in the textile industry most of his life.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maggie Camp Hazelwood; daughters,  Sofia and Ellanora Hazelwood; mother, Rhonda Hazelwood; brother, Cole Hazelwood; mother-in-law, Linda Payne Camp; brother-in-law, Dixon and Lisa Holtzclaw; niece, Ruthann Holtzclaw; nephew, Payne Holtzclaw; uncles, Bobby and Sherry Hazelwood, Jimmy Roach, and Lanny and Kathy Roach; aunts, Penny and Dowis Satterfield, Nancy and Troy Anderson, and Kathy Robinson; several dear cousins and friends.

A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Dry Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
