Mr. Jerod Keith Rowland, age 39, of Adairsville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

He was born in Hollywood, Florida on September 20, 1982, son of Donna Cleveland Rowland and the late Jerry Franklin Rowland. Mr. Rowland was of the Baptist Faith. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed working with his hand. He had a heart of gold and a keen sense of humor that always brought laughter to a quiet room. He was an avid fan of all Miami sports teams and enjoyed fishing, especially with his nephews. Above all Jerod loved being a dad to his daughter Emily, his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Franklin Rowland; grandparents, Tommy Rowland, Douglas Cleveland, and Elizabeth Cleveland Coen; and uncle, Timmy Murray.

Survivors include his fiancée , Olivia Alvarez; daughter, Emily Olivia Rowland , mother, Donna Rowland; grand mother, Mavis Rowland; grandfather, Ken Coen; sister , Erica (Carlos) Medrano; brother, Rodney (Kisha) Rowland; nieces and nephews, Jacob Medrano, Elizabeth Medrano, Savannah Rowland, Noah Rowland, Kamdyn Rowland, and Ansley Self ; aunts , Patsy Murray, Pam (Willie) Madison, and Beverly (Charlie) Cassell; uncle , Rodger (Darene) Rowland; and all of the Alvarez, Vila, and Molzon family.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
