Mr. Jerry Lee "Buck" Pasley, age 64, of Highway 140, Adairsville passed away Tuesday, February 21,2012, at Redmond Regional Hospital.

He was born in Rome, GA, January 27, 1948, son of the late Jessie L. and Daphene Adcock Pasley. Mr. Pasley enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren, fishing, and watching NASCAR and Westerns. He had worked at Union Carbide and Daiki and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Faith Pasley.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Cheryl Smith Pasley of Adairsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Mark Allison of Adairsville; 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Jason and Christy Pasley of Adairsville and Jody and Nikki Pasley of Adairsville; a brother, Rev. Ed and Maybelle Pasley of Rockmart; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Manuel Gilbert of Calhoun and Wanda and Scott Hale of Cassville; 7 grandchildren, Tanya and Courtney Allison, Jesse, Samantha, and Jacob Pasley, Lauren Pasley, and Taylor Jenkins; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Snow Springs Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Ed Pasley and Rev. Michael Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Pallbearers include Josh Jackson, Scott and Eric Brasington, Kerry and Grant Smith, Dwayne and Anthony Gilbert, Todd and Michael Pasley, and Jamie Hall.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
