Mr. Jerry Franklin Rowland , age 6 5 , of Adairsville, passed away Thursday , January 27 , 2022, at Cartersville Medical Center .

He was born in Ft. Lauderdale , Florida on July 7, 1956 , son of Mavis Croft Rowland and the late Hershel "Tommy" Rowland . Mr. Rowland was of the Baptist Faith. He worked as a roofer and contractor for several years. Jerry was a people person; he never met a stranger. When someone needed help Jerry was always right there ready. He called himself "The Legend" and his family couldn't agree more. Jerry was the best husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother anyone could ever ask for. They will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Rowland and brother- in-law , Timmy Murray.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Donna Rowland; children, Erica (Carlos) Medrano, Rodney ( Kisha ) Rowland, Jerod Rowland (Olivia Alv a rez); grandchildren, Jacob Medrano, Elizabeth Medrano, Savannah Rowland, Noah Rowland, K amdyn Rowland,  Emily Rowland, and Anzley Self ; mother, Mavis Rowland; sisters, Patsy Murray and Pam (Willie) Madison; brother, Rodger (Darene) Rowland; sister-in-law, Beverly (Charlie) Cassell and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
