Mr. Jerry Wayne Tate, age 70, of Adairsville, Ga passed away Friday evening, February 2, 2024, at AdventRedmond, Rome.

He was born in Rome, Georgia, August 4, 1953, son of the late Broudus Lee Tate and Mary Savannah Stroup Tate. He was a great hardworking man who loved his family and would give them all he had. He was well known for his musical ability as a drummer. Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Jeremy Tate (Karen), Melissa Tate, Jeri Tate Callahan, April Tate, and Jessica Tate; grandchildren, Dylan Tate, Emily Silvers, Dallas Tate, Denver Tate, Mitchell Hufstetler, Stormy Callahan, Cholie Silvers, James Hufstetler, Aleah Hufstetler, Taylor Mullins, Nathan Chastain, and Matthew Hightower; brother, Terry Tate; sisters, Pat Martin and Barbara Atkins (Frank); several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.
