Mrs. Jewell Geneva Hilliard Brown, age 82, of Adairsville passed away Friday morning, April 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Brown was born in Conving ton, Georgia, December 1, 1939 , daughter of the late Rayford Hilliard and Evie May West Hilliard. Jewell was a devout Christian and enjoyed reading her Bible. She cherished spending time with all of her family . She loved music and playing the guitar, an avid coin collector, and enjoyed finding a good bargain or yard sale . She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin Eugene Brown; and sisters and brothers, Margaret Hilliard, Ralph Hilliard, Dorothy Johnson, and Ben Hilliard.

She is survived by her loving children, Barry and Rita Brown, Jeff Brown, Tammy and Michael Lemming, and Melanie and Chris Meadows; grandchildren, Levi Brown, Amanda Griffin, Kim Whitlock, Kayla Sanford, Kiera Lemming, Dustin Meadows, Jared Meadows, and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hall and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Sun day, Ma y 1 , 2022, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Josh Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Whitlock, Jonathan Sanford, Dustin Meadows, Jared Meadows, John Griffi n, and James Trammell . Honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Whitlock, Brayden Whitlock, Cop e lin Sanford, and Cayson Sanford.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
