Mr. Jim "Jimmy" Willie Daniel, age 69, of Adairsville passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 after a strong battle with cancer.

He was born in Calhoun, GA, August 13, 1950, son of William Solomon Daniel, Sr and Inez Fisher Daniel. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and retired from Mannington. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and was the best husband, daddy, and papa. Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Daniel and sister, Joanne Roberts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Sue Ward Daniel; daughters, Donna Kay Starr and Dina and Samuel Weaver; parents, William "Cowboy" Daniel and Inez Daniel; grandchildren, Savannah (Stephen) Michaels, AJ (Kristi) Daniel, Madison (Mahala) Daniel, Neal Knight and Tyler Knight; great-grandchildren, Brody Michaels, Carolyne Michaels, and Davinee Daniel; brothers, William (Brenda) Daniel Jr, Johnny (Shelia) Daniel, and Thomas (Tammy) Daniel; brother-in-law, Anthony Roberts and several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2019, at 4:00 PM at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Creek Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Bradley Roberts, Richard Townsend, Chad Adams, Mike Ralston, Arturo Lopez, and Keith Jones.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
