Mrs. Jo Anne King Burnette, age 88, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Jo Anne was born in Adairsville, GA, March 22, 1936, daughter of the late Dallas George King and Nina Earle Ellis King. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Grant Burnette, son, Mike Burnette; brother, Jerry King; sisters, Betty Dutton Edna Brown and Brenda Easterwood. Mrs. Burnette was a lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Jo Anne's biggest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, sewing and quilting. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Barry Tuttle and Patty and Ronnie Turner; grandchildren, Meigan and Sam Moline, and Grant and Jordan Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Paxton Hollingsworth; sister, Geraldine Fowler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Adairsville with Reverends Roger Fisher and Daniel Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Dyer, Patrick Reece, Gary Breeden, Ronnie Turner, Bruce King, and Frank Moorehead.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Adairsville
