Ms. Dorothy Joan Camp , age 7 5 , of Rome, passed away Fri day, March 10, 2023.

Ms. Camp was born in Floyd County, Georgia, July 23, 1947, daughter of the late Anna Janelle West Camp and Robert "Pete" Leon Camp. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Charlotte Gail Camp. Joan loved cats, had a great sense of humor and was always wearing a smile on her face.

Survivors include her sister , Denise and Dusty Dowdy; nephews and nieces, Blaine Greeson (Amanda), Shawn Greeson (Katie), Seth Dowdy (Allie Ray), and Amber Dowdy; great- nieces and great-nephews , Isabelle, Gabrielle, Titus, Tallu l ah, Levi, Gavin, Roy and Jassie.

In true Joan fashion she wanted to have her Celebration of Life while she was living which was given on her 75 ^th Birthday. Honoring her wishes Joan was cremated.
