Obituary
Mrs. JoAnn Towe, age 78, of Bradly Lane, Adairsville, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Ball Ground, Georgia, on June 26, 1939, daughter of the late Buford Willie Lee Williams and Mamie Jenkins Williams. She was a member of Oothcalooga Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and a good western. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Daniel Towe; brothers, Dixie Williams and Rev. Billy Williams; sister, Marie Noles.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Robert and Suzie Williams of San Antonio, TX, Sarah and Leldon Woodring of Adairsville, Janet and Odis Jarrett of Adairsville, Betty Teague of Adairsville, and Jimmy and Sarah Williams of Adairsville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Michael Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers include her nephews Perry Williams, Aaron Williams, Dwayne Jarrett, Brandon Jarrett, Jimmy Williams, Monty Teague, Scott Woodring, Van Noles, and Tony Hufstetler.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. JoAnn Towe.
