Obituary
Mr. John Perry Allen, age 64, of Holcomb Drive, Adairsville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center.
He was born in Arlington, GA, April 25, 1951, son of the late Perry H. Allen and Ruby Addison Allen. Mr. Allen was of the Baptist faith and was a truck driver for many years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed playing cards. He was preceded in death by hisparents; first wife, Wilma Jean Allen; brother, Mike Allen; and sister, Jeanie Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Brown Allen of Adairsville; daughter, Christie Garlin of Adairsville; step-sons, Kenneth Brown of Euharlee, Stevie Brown of Adairsville, and Michael Brown of Adairsville; 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Lynn Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
