Mr. John William Kent, III, age 7 8 , Adairsville passed away Thursday, August 11 , 202 2, at Redmond Regional Hospital .

H e was born in Ball Ground, Georgia, September 29, 1943 , son of the late John William Kent, JR. and Fannie Blackwell Kent . Mr. Kent was of the Baptist faith and retired from Union Carbide Corporation . H e was preceded in death by h is parents and wife, Elaine Johnson Kent.

Survivors include his , daughter, Kimberly Bramlett and husband Steve; John William Kent, IV and wife Connie; grandchildren, Kimberly (Derek) Wigodinski, Grey Kent, Daulton Kent, Sarah Kent, Aaron Brito, and Miranda Brito; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Atticus, Jonas, Brodie, Marley, and Haley; sister, Martha Kent; special friend, Lisa McClure Hice.

Graveside services will be held Satur day, August 13, 2022 , at 11 :00 A M from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Reverend Jim Pinkard. Pallbearers include Grey Kent, Daulton Kent, Kent Womack, Bruce Womack, Aaron Brito, and Isidro Brito. Honorary pallbea r ers include Billy Womack, Byron Womack, and Bobby Hazelwood.
