Obituary
Mr. Johnny Lamar Barrett, age 30, of Georgia Boulevard, Cartersville, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013.
Mr. Barrett was born in Cartersville, GA, November 7, 1982. He was a member of Creekside Baptist Church and had attended Cass High School. A fun-loving, outgoing individual he was well liked by everyone and never met a stranger. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Most of all, he loved his children. Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Brenda Barrett.
Survivors include his parents, Nancy Joan Sherman of Cartersville, and Robert Lamar Barrett of Chickamauga; his four children, Felicity, Tyler, Bankston and August; a sister, Ashley Barrett Guffey of Cartersville; a brother Chaz Coulter of Cartersville; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Genia Sherman of Kingston; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 4:00 PM at Creekside Fellowship Church in Cartersville with Rev. Mike Abernathy officiating.
