Jonathon Blake Anderson, age 37, of Rome, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 27, 1988, in Rome, Georgia.
Jonathon is survived by his daughter, his pride and joy, Presley Ray Anderson; his beloved momma, Chrystal Carletta Collins; sister, Victoria “Tori” Morris; aunts, Dodie Beauchamp (Ricky) and Suzy Heins (Jeff); uncle, Fred Collins, Jr. (Cindy); great-aunt, Joyce Smith; cousins, Chris Beauchamp, Courtney Collins, Jacob Collins, and Madison Collins; the mother of his daughter, Samantha Lynn Tate; and several dear friends.
He was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents, Linda Perdue Wilson and JD and Bobbie Anderson; his cousin, Jay Beauchamp; his stepfather, Tim Acker; and uncle, Billy Whatley.
Jonathon was a beloved son and devoted daddy whose greatest joy in life was his daughter, Presley. From the moment she arrived, she changed his life, and she quickly became his whole world. The bond they shared was truly special. Jonathon and Presley enjoyed watching movies together, playing video games, swimming, and simply being on the go and making memories wherever they went. Above all, he treasured every moment he had with his daughter and took great pride in being her daddy.
Jonathon shared an especially close bond with his momma. They were each other's biggest fans and took great pride in one another. He was always supportive of her, just as she was of him. Jonathon even helped his mother choose the name for her business, Stylish Designs Salon and Spa, and he was incredibly proud of the business she built. Their relationship was one filled with love, encouragement, laughter, and genuine friendship.
Jonathon was a 2007 graduate of Calhoun High School, where he played football wearing jersey #53. He later attended Tulsa Welding School, where he earned certifications in shipfitting and steel fabrication. He worked for Elevated Steel and Prime Seven Industrial. Jonathon genuinely enjoyed the career he chose and took great pride in his work. He was talented at what he did and was proud of the skills he had developed throughout his career.
Outside of work, Jonathon enjoyed golfing, watching movies, and listening to music. He also had a wonderful sense of style and always made sure he looked his best. He took pride in putting together the perfect outfit, often making sure his shoes matched, his watch and sunglasses were just right, and he never forgot his cologne. Looking good and smelling good were important to Jonathon, and he had a style all his own.
Above all else, Jonathon loved his daughter and his mom with all his heart. They were two of the most important people in his life, and the love he had for them was evident in the way he cared for them, supported them, and treasured the time they shared. He will be remembered as a loving daddy, devoted son, and cherished friend whose memory will live on through those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
