Mrs. Julie Ann Winters “Mama Julie”, age 70, formerly of Adairsville, GA passed Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her residence in Cleveland, Tenn.

Julie found great joy in cooking, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a warm and vibrant spirit, bringing love, laughter, and joy to those around her. Throughout her working years, Julie worked with Barton Funeral Home and was part of the cafeteria staff at Adairsville Middle School. She will be remembered for her caring nature, joyful personality, and the many special memories she created with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Leon Winters; her parents, Willie B. Carson and Mattilene Sellers; a daughter, Stephanie Winters; sisters, Lucy Sellers, Bettie Ann Richards; brothers, Al Sellers, Jack Sellers, and Nixon Richards.

She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Richards; her sons, Palarreus Richards, Jermaine Winters, and David Winters; grandchildren, Destiny, Keionte, Montavious, PJ, Latasia, Zadon and Jayvon; brothers, Terry Carson, Willie Carson (Sheba), Curtis Carson (Jenelle), and Tim Carson; sisters, Patty Birchfield, Esther Diaz; a very special friend Leola Wilkey. one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Adairsville Body of Christ with Pastor Kenneth Benham officiating.
