Justin Jute Garland, age 17, of Adairsville passed away February 26, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Cartersville, Georgia May 22, 2002. A true southerner, he loved hunting, fishing, pickup trucks, and more importantly his family and friends. Justin was employed at Double J Farms in Kingston. Never one to just sit around, he was always into something, tinkering in the garage with his Pop, helping someone in need, or maybe just hanging out with friends. If you knew Justin, you know he loved big, Justin never left without letting you know he loved you. Justin had a heart of gold, always wore a big smile, and brought laughter to a quiet room with his witty sense of humor. His free spirit and love for life will be missed by all.

Survivors include his parents, Pakston (Vickie) Boswell and Kelly Seymour Boswell; siblings, Tyler (Lindsey) Boswell; Bailey Boswell, Josh Garland, Kylie Rogers, and Katie Rogers; grandparents, Jerry and Kay Ann Boswell Cathy Bailey Boston, and James Seymour; biological parents, Anthony Garland and Melissa Sutton Garner; aunts, Dodie Boswell, Lori (William) Whitfield, and Kim (Barry) Bennett; uncle, John (Shea) Seymour; girlfriend, Devin Barrett and his precious niece, Parker Kate Boswell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Landon Hamby officiating. Pallbearers include Josh Garland, Rylie Merrell, Gavin Smith, Matt Georgefski, Rodney West, Dawson Boswell, Lane Mitchell, and Tyler Duvall. Honorary pallbearers include Jacob Jones, Teddy Hamrick, Andrew Coplin,  Andrew Seymour, Tony Griffin, Bradley Culberson, and Neal Young.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
