Mr. Keith Hanlon Russell passed away peacefully at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia on December 7th at the age of 83.

Keith was born in Thomasville, Georgia to Cleo and Paul Russell. He served in the United States Navy before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where he met and later married Brenda (Beavers) Russell on July 14th, 1962. Keith worked in the printing business in Chamblee, Georgia for National Geographic until he retired. He and Brenda moved to Adairsville, Georgia in 2006. He never met a stranger and he looked forward to his time playing Santa at church each Christmas as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, both at the Cartersville and Calhoun wards. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Keith is survived by his only daughter, Carla Russell Perren. Keith is also survived by his grandchildren, Chelsea Perren, Ben Perren, and Cherish Kerr and his 3 great-grandchildren. A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, December 11th with the receiving of friends from 12 PM to 2 PM followed by the service at 2 PM. The funeral will be held at the Barton & Son F uneral Home in Adairsville, Georgia.
