M r . Kenneth Eugene Hilliard , 71, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully at home Sun day eveni ng October 2 3 , 2022, surrounded by his loving family .

H e was born in Cartersville, GA , October 16, 1951 , son of the late Fe rman Hilliard and Thelma Hendrixs Hilliard. M r . Hilliard was also preceded in death by h is son, Sonny Eugene Hilliard and several brother and sisters . Kenneth enjoyed working in the yard, being outdoors, and rabbit hunting when he was young er . He was happiest when he was with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than being a good husband, dad, and pawpaw.

Survivors include h is loving wife of 5 2 years, Betty Ann Hilliard; daughter, Lawana Wood; grandchildren, Rachel Hammonds (Cody), Kayla Elrod (David), and Levi Wilbanks; gr e at grandchildren, Haley, Camden, and Colton Hammonds, Georgia and Cash Elrod; brother, Albert Hilliard; sisters, Gail Poole, Mary Lee, Dimple Hilliard, and Wanda Patterson ; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at a later date.
