Obituary
Mr. Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Stephenson, 59, of Jarrett Loop, Adairsville, formerly of Summerville passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Calhoun Health Care after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Summerville, GA, April 18, 1958, son of Shirley Murphy Hoffman and the late Charles Clifford Stephenson, Jr. Mr. Stephenson was a member at NorthPointe Church. He enjoyed antique cars, watching NASCAR, and being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Clifford Stephenson, Jr. and stepfather, Earl Hoffman.
Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Wendy King Stephenson of Adairsville; children, Jamie (Brian) Meadows of Cloudland, Justin Stephenson of Marietta, Mackenzie Stephenson of Adairsville, and Lauren Stephenson of Adairsville; mother, Shirley Hoffman of Summerville; grandchildren, Ariel, Harley, and Dawson Tucker; sisters, Susan (Bobby) Leaman of TN, Karen (Greg) Echols of Summerville, and Wendy S. Stephenson of Summerville; brother, Lynn (Sandra) Stephenson of Summerville; stepmother, Sybil Stephenson of Summerville; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 5:00 PM from NorthPointe Church with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the church.
