Obituary
Mr. Kevin James Bowen, age 50, of Pleasant Valley Road, Adairsville, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Redlands, California, on August 10, 1967, son of the late John Hue Bowen and Florence Jessee Bowen. Kevin lived most of his life in Georgia. He was the youngest of the six siblings. Kevin was an avid fisherman. He loved everything about being outdoors. He worked outside with Bowen Auger Service for over 20 years. He loved being at the shop every morning discussing with the guys the job for the day. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Nola Meyer; grandfather and grandmother, Ezra and Lillie Bowen.
Survivors include his daughter, Marley Bowen; brothers and sister, Ronnie and Pat Bowen of Adairsville, Donnie and Pam Bowen of San Diego, CA, Dawayne and Lois Bowen of Adairsville, Jerome and Sandra Bowen of Adairsville, Rich and Sharon Lind of Adairsville; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at NorthPointe Church, Adairsville, with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church.
