Obituary

Kisha Welchel Bearden, better known as Ki-Ki, Kita, or newly introduced as Grandma BAM, 48, of Adairsville gained her wings Sunday evening, July 30, 2023, doing one of the many things she loved to do, riding motorcycles.

Kisha was born in Rome, Georgia, November 15, 1974, daughter of Tim Welchel and Darlene Waldon Payne. She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Waldon Payne; grandparents, John D. Waldon and Ruby Boswell Webb Waldon and Bobby and Mildred Welchel.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, her pride and joy, Reanna Bearden, Rylie Bearden, and Braxton Bearden; her new joy, grandson, Baylin Andrew beloved brother, Corey and Jessie Welchel; father, Tim and Tanya Welchel; nephews and niece, Jaxon Welchel, Chloe Welchel, and Gabe Welchel; uncle, Ronnie Waldon and grandpuppy, Smokey Bearden.

Kisha was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She loved and cherished her children, family, friends, church family, and community. Her children were her purpose, from being their biggest fan in sports to supporting them in all life's adventures. She was always there. She attended Remnant Church and was a true pillar of the community, always volunteering for any and all church activities and outreaches in town. Her fun and outgoing personality always made Kisha a joy to be around. She had a heart as big as the sky, wore a smile that shined like the sun, and she ALWAYS made everyone laugh. Kisha enjoyed her beach trips, riding her motorcycle, and anything that was wild and adventurous. Kisha never met a stranger, was always there when you needed her, and would go out of her way to help others. To know her was to love her and you always knew she loved you. "Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10.

A Celebration of Kisha's Life will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Remnant Church with Rev. Andrew Hight officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 PM until 5:00 PM at the church. Graveside service will follow at Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville.
