Mr. Larry Thomas Martin, age 71, of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center.

He was born in Marietta, GA, on August 10, 1946, son of the late Charlie T. Martin and Annabelle Sargent Martin. He was of the Baptist faith and attended New Hope Baptist Church. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Lockheed Martin.

Survivors include his loving wife, Pat Tate Martin of Calhoun; sons, Donald of Fair Play, SC and James of Adairsville; grandchildren, Olivia and Ian; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Dwight Scott and Rev. Jim Storm officiating.   Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery, Rome. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Larry Thomas Martin.
