Mr. Larry Bruce Smith, Sr., 53, of Hall Station Road, Kingston, passed away Saturday evening, December 28, 2013 at Fifth Avenue Health and Rehab.
He was born in Rome, GA, November 26, 1960, son of the late Claude Bryant Smith and Jewell Ruby Smith. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed shooting and collecting guns. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Elrod.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Larry B. Smith, Jr. of Kingston and Clifford Smith of Adairsville; a daughter, Lakota Smith of Whitesburg; fiancée, Shirley Hamman of Cave Springs; stepchildren, Janna Hamman of Cave Springs and Benjamin Franklin Hamman of Cave Springs; several grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jeanette Reynolds of Rome and Linda Green of Kingston; a brother, C. B. Smith of Rome and numerous nieces and nephews
Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Kingston Baptist Church with Mr. Johnny Green officiating.
