Mr. Larry Allen Ward, age 31, of 371 Hickory Lake Drive, Acworth, passed away Saturday morning, July 7, 2012 in Cherokee County.

Mr. Ward was born in Rome, Georgia at Floyd Medical on October 16th, 1980, to proud parents Glenn Jackson and Mary Ann Staton Ward, Jr. He had worked for the family business his entire life and was a member of the Floyd Springs Masonic Lodge #167 F&AM, Armuchee, Georgia. Mr. Ward enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was a very dedicated and loving husband, father and family man. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Jackson Ward Sr. and Dorothy Louise Goodwin Ward of Rome and Larry Allen Staton of Acworth.

Larry is survived by his wife, Misty Rae Hunter Ward of Acworth; children, Aedan Dean and Bailey Rae Ward of Acworth; parents, Glenn Jackson Ward, Jr. and Mary Ann Staton Ward of Rome; a brother and sister-in-law, Glenn Jackson and Melissa Ward, III, of Adairsville; a sister and brother-in-law Alicia Ann Ward Redd and Gary Redd of Adairsville; a grandmother Mary Jane Staton of Acworth; nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12th, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, with a memorial service to follow.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of arrangements for Mr. Larry Ward.
