Mr. Larry Neal Williams, age 67, of Adairsville went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, February 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born in Cedartown, Georgia, February 12, 1956, son of the late Charles Williams and Jean West Williams. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Stuart Williams. Larry was a Christian minister and attended Plainview Baptist Church. He served for seven years with the United States Army achieving the rank of sergeant and served in the Georgia National Guard for a year. He was a hand grenade expert and received the national defense service award, marksman badge, and the good conduct medal. Larry owned and operated L & L Drywall and worked as a gunsmith and machinist. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Lynn Williams; daughter, April Lynn Abernathy and husband Kevin; son, Robert Neal Williams and wife Tina; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Millsapps, Michael Millsapps, Logan Abernathy, Jonas Abernathy, and Beckham Bevelot; great-grandson, Ethan Millsapps; sisters, Julie Carver (Joe) and Laura Maiden; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Pastor Greg Rawlins officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton with military honors. Pallbearers will be Matthew Walker, Robert Nelson, Sol Collum, Michael Millsapps, Jonas Abernathy, and Mark Oliver.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
