Obituary
Mr. Lawrence "Bud" L. Jones, JR, age 70, of Adairsville, passed away Saturday morning, October 29, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.
He was born in Bartow County, GA, May 25, 1946, son of the late Lawrence Landrum Jones, SR and Corrie Mae King Jones. He was a member of Connesena Baptist Church and former song leader. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Fowler.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and April Jones of Rome and Jason and Tonya Jones of Rome; grandchildren, Alex Jones, Chaney Jones, Logan Jones, and Chelsey Selman; sisters, Martha and Dennis Brewer of Gaylesville, Alabama and Judy Thomason of Armuchee; brother, Mike and Lisa Jones of Adairsville;
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 31, 2016, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Max Maybern officiating. Pallbearers include Alex Jones, Shaun Jones, Josh Martin, Tom Brownlow, Kevin Groce, and Chad Groce.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
