Ms. Leah Kathryn Terrill, age 37, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2012, following a short medical illness at Vanderbilt Surgical ICU in Nashville, TN.
Leah was born on January 24, 1975 to Harry and Linda Terrill. She was a 1993 graduate from Harriman High School, Harriman, TN and then in 1997, graduated from the University of Tennessee where she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. She was a sister in Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Leah was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kingston, TN. She was also a member of the Smoky Mountain Parrotheads and Nashville Parrotheads. Leah loved being known as a Parrothead. She made her home in Nashville, TN in 1998, where she was employed by V. Alexander Worldbridge Inc. as an Export Analyst until her death. Leah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sgt. William T. Richardson and Eva Louise Tate Richardson; Paternal grandparents, Raymond Stanley and Ruby Bishop Terrill and paternal aunt, Joan Terrill Putnam.
She is survived by her parents, Henry Harrison (Harry) and Linda Terrill of Harriman, TN, her paternal aunts, Barbara Polk and Jacqueline (John) Harbison, and maternal uncles, Lawrence Edwin Richardson and Lynn Thomas Richardson; her cousins Mark (Mary) Putnam, Michele (Steve) Cassan, Vince (Alana) Polk, II, Erin (Jay) Parr, and special 2nd cousins Andrea, Amy, Jennifer, Sarah, Lauren, Ryan, Carley and Miranda Rose, and special honorary uncle and aunt, JR and Jeannie Slaten of Louisville, KY.
A celebration of Leah's life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at R. Dudley Barton and Son Funeral Home in Adairsville, GA. Harry and Linda will be greeting family and friends from 5:00 - 7:00 for you to share your memories of Leah with them.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that a knockout rose be planted in Ms. Terrill's honor.
