Mr. Leldon E. Towe, age 77, formerly of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 19, 2020, at his residence in Cedar Bluff, Alabama.

He was born in Adairsville, GA, September 6, 1942 to the late, Norman V. Towe and Mary Temples Towe. Mr. Towe was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church, Cartersville. He loved being with his family, fishing, and working on lawnmowers. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher Alan Towe; and stepbrother, Dennis Temples.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Mattie "Bay" Towe; children, Tammie Falcao, Deidra Waddell, Scotty Towe, and Julie and Kirk Ragland; grandchildren, Marion, Nicky, Josh, Sierra, Jada, Ashley, Elijah, Kayla, Kirk, Jr., Kyland, and Kavon; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry and Charlotte Towe; sister, Patsy Jordan; stepbrother, Jimmy Temples; stepsister, Dondra Shook and several special nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Cordell officiating. Graveside services will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Following social distancing guidelines the family will receive family and friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Shane Towe, Dwayne "Shorty" Ragsdale, Neal Ragsdale, Nathan Hunt, David Ragsdale, Brad Hunt, and Terrick Hunt.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Leldon E. Towe.
