Mr. Paul Leldon Woodring, age 80, of Adairsville passed away Friday evening, March 27, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Shannon, Georgia, December 5, 1939, to the late Paul and Willie Bell Woodring. Mr. Woodring was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War and retired after 35 years from Chemical Products. A true race fan, he liked dirt tracks to NASCAR. In his younger days Leldon loved to be out on the water boating and fishing, but here recently you would find him sitting and enjoying the front porch. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa. Mr. Woodring was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Geneva Jones.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sarah Woodring; son, Scott Woodring; grandchildren, Graysen and Riley Woodring; brother, Larry and Freda Woodring and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Mattox officiating. Pallbearers include Brett Jones, Jeremy Jones, Tony Hufstetler, Blake Zacharko, Brandon Jarrett, Keith Jones, and Monty Teague.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Paul Leldon Woodring
