Mr. Leon Stiles, age 64, of Gaylesville, Alabama, passed away peacefully February 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Leon was born in Murphy, NC, June 12, 1959, son of the late  Skyler B. Stiles and Olive Joy Coleman Stiles. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dewey B. Stiles, Edward D. Stiles, Randal Stiles; and sister, Malinda Edwards.

Leon worked in the timber business and was a farmer. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his garden, fishing and hunting. In his younger years he loved working on cars and riding motorcycles. He will be dearly missed by his family and those who were fortunate to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Buffy Stiles; beloved children, John T. Stiles, Clinton Stiles (Kimberly), Winston Stiles, Skyler Stiles (Alesia), Misty Stiles (Adam Ross), and Jesse Stiles (Josh Galles); grandchildren; Abigail, Madison, Amber, Ethan, Caleb, Mallory (TJ), Kayden, Kolton, Austin, Chloe, Cotton, Makenna, and Silas; brothers and sisters; Jack (Cathy) Stiles, Thelma Perry, Archie Stiles, Eugene Stiles, Ardel Stiles, Daniel Stiles, Emma (Tim) Henson, Mary (Gene) Casey, and Virginia Moon; sister-in-law, Lynn (Ravee) Morrow; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 2:30 pm (ET) from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Randy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, Gaylesville, AL. Pallbearers include John, Clinton, Winston, Skyler, Kayden, and Austin Stiles.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm (ET) at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
