Obituary
Mr. Leonard Pratt, age 55, of Rock Fence Road, Adairsville, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at the residence.
He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, March 19, 1959, son of the late Clemon Glen Pratt and Ethel Jewel Wyatt Pratt. Leonard was a veteran of the United States Army where he worked in the transportation department. He was assigned to the Special Forces unit as the driver for dignitaries such as Secretary of the Treasury Alan Greenspan, General Colin Powell, and other 5 star generals. Leonard enjoyed living life and truly cherished all of his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Cassandra Pratt of Michigan, Amanda Pratt of Michigan, and Cyrus Pratt of Rome; 6 grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor, Connor, Lillianna, Daisymae, and Harlin; siblings, Sandra and Jerome Bowen of Adairsville, Sharon Pratt of Adairsville, and Anthony Pratt of San Diego, CA; nephew, Reggie and Alisha Bragg of Adairsville; niece, Jenna and Timothy Bryant and several great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 4:00 PM at NorthPointe Church, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Private interment will be held later at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at NorthPointe Church.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Leonard Pratt.
