Mr. Leroy Charles Barton, age 66, of Adairsville passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Leroy was born in Kings Lynn, England January 16, 1958, son of the late Ray Thomas Barton and Brenda Barnes Barton. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brent Charles Barton; stepson, Donald Shepherd; grandparents, Frank and Jessie Lee Barton and Horace and Hilda Barnes. Leroy was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was honored to serve his country. He enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, tending to his Koi Pond, and loved watching old westerns.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Barton; sons, Kyle Barton and Trevor Barton; stepson, James Shepherd and Dustin Banks; grandchildren, Hunter and Lucas Shepherd; brothers, Alan Barton and David Barton; sister, Wendy Mealer (Donnie) and Tracy Griffin (Shane); several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Leroy's Life will be held Friday, July 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home.  The family will receive Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
