Mr. Leslie Dale Bowling, age 82, of West Oak Grove Road, Adairsville, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Athens, West Virginia on March 2, 1934, son of the late Leslie Basil Bowling and Ermertrude Bridges Bowling. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church Marietta. Mr. Bowling was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from Lockheed Martin, and member of the AT&T Pioneer Group. He loved traveling with his wife, enjoyed creating beautiful flower gardens and vegetable gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-three years, Nona Bowling of Adairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Morrow of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jackie Bowling of Jacksonville, FL, and Lee and Teresa Bowling of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Leslie Morrow, Lacy Bowling and McKayla Bowling; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating.
