Mrs. Lillian Rogers Teague, 90, of 196 North Dixie Ave, Cartersville passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Townsend Park Health and Rehab.

She was born in Bartow County, GA, February 26, 1922, daughter of the late Thomas A and Katie Freeman Rogers. Mrs. Teague was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marsden Dale Teague and 2 sisters, Virginia Hammonds and Frances Rogers.

Survivors include 5 nephews, Lee Hammonds of Adairsville, Roger Hammonds of Aragon, Danny Hammonds of Cartersville, and Scottie Hammonds of Adairsville, and Charles Hammonds of Taylorsville; 3 nieces, Brenda McClure of Adairsville, Betty Lindsey of Adairsville, and Syble Williams of Taylorsville; lots of friends and family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013, at 2:30 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Kingston. Christopher Hammonds, Danny Hammonds, Payson Hammonds, Donnie Hammonds, David Williams, and Roger Hammonds will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
