Mrs. Linda Serene Williamson Baker, age 65, of Adairsville, passed away December 24, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by the ones she loved.

Mrs. Baker was born in Bartow County, December 9, 1959, daughter of the late Lloyd Mayes Williamson and Mary Leola Peterson Williamson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Thomas Earl Baker. Linda was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, and had been employed as a bus driver with the Bartow County School System amd most importantly a stay at home mom to not only her own children, but many others.

Nona could always be found screaming loudly from the sidelines, bleachers, or stands of the many sporting events her babies were involved in. Linda was always up for a shopping excursion where she would typically aquire a new piece of jewelry or last minute road trip with her bestie or family. Every morning she could be found on her front porch enjoying her daily cup of coffee and chat with Alice, aka Sarge. Nona loved deeply, and was loved deeply in return. She would do all that she could to spoil the ones she loved the most.

Survivors include her beloved children, Natasha and Tom Johnson, Thomas and Autumn Baker and Billy and Jessica Worthington; precious grandchildren, Sadye Johnson, Jett Johnson, Cole Baker, Finn Baker, Tifton Worthington, and Righley Worthington; sister, Debbie Brown (Steven); brothers, Lloyd Williamson, III(Vicki), and Michael Williamson;  several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Stepp officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Jett Johnson, Righley and Tifton Worthington, Jay Chancey, Burl Dye, and Lane Griffith. Cole and Finn Baker will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
