Mrs. Linda Lou Brooks Bryan, age 62, of 952 Woody Road, Adairsville, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the residence.

She was born in Jasper, GA, March 6, 1949, daughter of the late Houston and Hazel Kaylor Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathy Silvers.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Bryan of Adairsville; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Donna Young of Calhoun and Danny and Shelia Young of Ranger; 2 daughters, Lou Ann Mulkey of Fairmount and Charlene Young and Sandford Randolph of Calhoun;3 step-children, Kelly and Jeff Dolley of Adairsville, Stephen and Tammie Bryan of Calhoun, and John and Stephanie Bryan of Adairsville;17 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Carol and Lloyd Mathews, Veronica Barnes, and Mary Grace Cronan; a brother, Larry Brooks and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April, 20, 2011, at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Randall Chastain and Rev. Ken Coomer officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Samuel Shepard, Mitchell Shepard, SR, Mitchell Shepard, JR, Anthony Parker, Blake Young, Scotty Brooks, John Bryan, Richard Davis will serve pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracey Young and Eric Young.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening after 6:00 PM at the residence.
