Mrs. Linda Faye Greene, 75, of Kingston, passed away Saturday morning, March 4, 2023 at her residence.

She was born in Kingston, Georgia, January 30, 1948, daughter of the late  Claude B. Smith and Jewell Shelton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Arnold; sisters, Mary Ann Elrod and Jeanette Reynolds; and brother, Bruce Smith. She was a member of CaananLand Christian Center. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, Johnny Greene; daughters, Vicky Diagooes (Manuel), Tammy Woods (David), Judy Harrison (Jack), Terry Hillhouse (Angie); brother,  C. B. Smith and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 2:00PM from the chapel at Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Brian Silvers and Jeremy Nickolas officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
