M r s . Linda Faye Byars Hightower , age 7 2 , of Adairsville , passed away Monday evening, September 1 3 , 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was born in Cartersville , Georgia , August 1 2 , 1949 , daughter of the late Warren Junior Byars and Sally Hill Byars. When she was able Linda attended Kingston Holiness Church. Family was the most important thing in her life. She loved being able to help watch and take care of all of her precious grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents ; husband, Arvil Hightower; and sisters, Darlene White, Vicki e Hulsey, Wanda Dover, and Hope Byars, Judy Herod .

Survivors include her sons, Brad (Olivia) Hightower, Greg (Leslie) Hightower, Kelly (Nancy) Hightower, and Jamie Hightower; grandchildren, Luke Hightower, Matthew Hightower, Rebekah Hightower, Ch r is Thomaston, Christon Hightower, Ansley Craig, Ryan Hightower, Dylan Hightower, Landon Hightower, Rance Hightower, Corey Hightower, and Ariel Hightower ; 2 2 great- grandchildren brothers, Tim Byars, Cliff Byars, and Brian Byars; sisters, Sherry Collins and Molly Smith; brother -in-law , Tilmon Herod and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thurs day, September 16 , 2021 , at 3 :00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Holmes officiating . The family will receive friends Thurs day from 1 :00 PM until the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Full Bible Church Cemetery, Adairsville.

Pallbearers will be Brad Hightower, Greg Hightower, Kelly Hightower, Jamie Hightower, Christon Hightower, and Ryan Hightower.
