Mrs. Linda Jean Hicks Jones, age 79, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 28, 1942, in Rome, Georgia to the late Joseph Claude Hicks and Flora Mae Smith Hicks. Mrs. Jones was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Keith Fowler; and sister, Sandra Heath Bryant.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ross Jones; daughter, Julie Silvers and husband Michael; grandchildren, Caleb Silvers, Jessica Silvers, Jaclyn Silvers, Will Fowler, and Sami Fowler; great-grandchildren, Jordan Brock and Kay Scott; sister, Joan Hill and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Michael Silvers officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
