Mrs. Lola May Christian , age 8 2, of Adairsville passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 25, 2021, at her residence.

She was born in Sylvester, Georgia, September 7, 1938 , daughter of the late. Thomas Richard Watson and Rachel Summerville Watson . She attended The Gospel Deliverance Worship Center in Adairsville. Lola was a kind and sweet lady who loved everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lee Christian; grandchildren, Jessica Yates, Michael Yates, and Michael Harrell; brothers, Junior Watson, Billy Watson, Benjamin Watson ; sisters, Jeannette Ladder, Jean Morgan, and Louise Mercer.

Survivors include her children, John Yates, Judy Harrell, and Patsy Bunn; grandchildren , Wayne Harrell, Jimmy Harrell, Matthew Leonard, Shannon Thomas, and JoAnn Hernandez ; 18 great great-grandchildren; companion, Tommy Chappell; sisters, Emma Johnson and Martha Poss; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tues day, April 2 7 , 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverend s Sam Randolph and Walkie Walraven officiating. Interment will follow at Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville . Pallbearers include John Yates, Jimmy Harrell, Wayne Harrell, Matthew Leonard, Mason Yates, and Austin Harrell. Honorary pallbearers include, Tommy Chappell, Alfredo Hernandez, Austin Dodge, and Andrew Dodge.

The family will receive friends Tues day from 1 1 :00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Family and friends attending services are asked to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
